<br /> <br />Date: June 25, 2004 <br /> <br />To: Frank Klein, Cass County Director of Equalization <br /> <br />From: Wanda Wilcox, City Assessor <br /> <br />RE: Valuation of 1050 - 1102 Center Street <br /> <br />Edward Fereuson -1050-1102 Center St. West Fareo - Parcel # 02-0860-00035-000- <br />Recommendation: Reduce overall valuation to $395.000 as aereed upon hv the Citv of <br />West Fareo and Edward Fereuson. <br /> <br />Edward Ferguson appeared before both the West Fargo Board of Equalization on April <br />13th and the County Board of Equalization on June 7th. His property is part of a four year <br />mass reappraisal plan of all commercial property in West Fargo. At the time Mr. <br />Ferguson appeared before the County Board of Equalization, the City of West Fargo was <br />still reviewing the 2004 value as protested at our April 13th meeting. <br /> <br />A review of the reappraisal has been completed. Mr. Ferguson has two pole barn <br />structures being used for manufacturing. The quality of the manufacturing buildings is <br />not on the same level as typical manufacturing buildings. An agreement has been <br />reached between Mr. Ferguson and the City of West Fargo to reduce the value of his <br />property from $476,400 to $395,000 for 2004. <br /> <br />The City of West Fargo is requesting that the County Board of Equalization reduce the <br />property valuation of this parcel from $476,400 to $395,000 for the 2004 assessment <br />year.
