Commission Minutes-January 20,2009 3464 WHEREAS, Personal property taxes of David B. and Lauretta M. Bedford d/b/a Valley Kitchen remain unpaid, and; WHEREAS, David B. and Lauretta M. Bedford have an interest in real property (Valley Kitchen) described as Lots 22 and 23 as originally platted less the following for highway right of way: Beginning at a point of the existing Northerly right of way line of Main Avenue and the Easterly line of Lot 22 then North 2 degrees 12 minutes 14 seconds West assumed bearing along the Easterly line of said Lot 22 for a distance of 13.82 feet then North 81 degrees 10 minutes 59 seconds West for a distance of 47.69 feet to a point of intersection with the existing Northerly right of way line of Main Avenue then South 66 degrees 5 minutes 55 seconds East along the existing Northerly right of way line of Main Avenue for a distance of 52.13 feet to the point of beginning of Goodman's Subdivision to the City of Fargo; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Cass County North Dakota, that the personal property taxes of David B. and Lauretta M. Bedford d/b/a Valley Kitchen in the amount of $703.44 be made a specific lien on Lots 22 and 23 as originally platted less the following for highway right of way: Beginning at a point of the existing Northerly right of way line of Main Avenue and the Easterly line of Lot 22 then North 2 degrees 12 minutes 14 seconds West assumed bearing along the Easterly line of said Lot 22 for a distance of 13.82 feet then North 81 degrees 10 minutes 59 seconds West for a distance of 47.69 feet to a point of intersection with the existing Northerly right of way line of Main Avenue then South 66 degrees 5 minutes 55 seconds East along the existing Northerly right of way line of Main Avenue for a distance of 52.13 feet to the point of beginning of Goodman's Subdivision to the City of Fargo. Dated at Fargo, North Dakota, this 20th day of January, 2009. d. Receive monthly financial statement from the Auditor's Office for the month ended December 31,2008. e. Receive and file Indemnity Bond on Lost Instrument for U.S. Title & Closing; and authorize the county auditor and county treasurer to issue a duplicate check. f. Authorize the chairwoman to sign purchase orders to Motorola in the amount of $94,213.04 and to Mid-States Wireless in the amount of $49,132.00 for Road Department interoperable radio system equipment. g. Amend Commission Policy Manual Sections 1.00, Courthouse Office Lay Out and 1.10, County Offices Outside of the Courthouse. h. Approve a special event permit for the Red Baron Lounge & Pizza Pub to serve alcoholic beverages for a Cass County Wildlife game feed fundraiser on January 24, 2009, between the hours of 4:00 PM to approximately 12:30 AM at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds, 1201 West Main Avenue, West Fargo, North Dakota. i. Authorize the Information Technology Department to purchase computer equipment and software in the amount of $248,560.00.
