<br />Commission Minutes-January 5, 2009 3462 <br /> <br />sponsor a bill relating to this issue, but would need something formal from the county. <br />Commissioners were in agreement to move forward on this issue. <br /> <br />Mrs. Johnson said she will conduct a training session on personnel matters to Sheriff's <br />Office staff on Wednesday, January ih. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner said weekly legislative meetings will begin this Friday, January 9th. He said the <br />meeting will begin at 2: 15 PM for county department heads to review upcoming legislation. <br />The statewide conference call will be held at 3:00 PM. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner said the Building Committee meeting scheduled for January 14th has been re- <br />scheduled to Wednesday, January 21st at 4:00 PM in the Commission Room. <br /> <br />Mr. Pawluk asked if the state's attorney has reviewed what, if any, rights the townships may <br />have to enforce zoning regulations. State's Attorney Birch Burdick said he has not had a <br />chance review the issue, but will look into the matter this week. <br /> <br />9. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Pawluk moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to receive and file <br />correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. <br /> <br />- Letter from Reed Township Board informing the county they will not relinquish their <br />zoning rights to the county in relation to a junk ordinance or zoning change (copy <br />referred to the county engineer and county planner); <br />Letter from North Dakota Department of Transportation regarding the economic recovery <br />package for 2009. <br /> <br />10.
