Mrs. Johnson said she will conduct a training session on personnel matters to Sheriff's Office staff on Wednesday, January ih. Mr. Wagner said weekly legislative meetings will begin this Friday, January 9th. He said the meeting will begin at 2: 15 PM for county department heads to review upcoming legislation. The statewide conference call will be held at 3:00 PM. Mr. Wagner said the Building Committee meeting scheduled for January 14th has been re- scheduled to Wednesday, January 21st at 4:00 PM in the Commission Room. Mr. Pawluk asked if the state's attorney has reviewed what, if any, rights the townships may have to enforce zoning regulations. State's Attorney Birch Burdick said he has not had a chance review the issue, but will look into the matter this week. 9. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed MOTION, passed Mr. Pawluk moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to receive and file correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. - Letter from Reed Township Board informing the county they will not relinquish their zoning rights to the county in relation to a junk ordinance or zoning change (copy referred to the county engineer and county planner); Letter from North Dakota Department of Transportation regarding the economic recovery package for 2009. 10. ADJOURNMENT MOTION, passed On motion by Mr. Vanyo, seconded by Mr. Wagner and all in favor, the meeting was adjourned at 3:50 PM.
