All employees will remain alert, observant and occupied with law enforcement <br />business during their tour of duty and will not conduct themselves in a manner <br />that would merit criticism for inattentiveness, inefficiency or wasting time. <br /> <br />D. Employees while representing the Sheriffs office, will not ridicule, mock, <br />taunt, or belittle any person; nor willfully embarrass, humiliate or shame any <br />person or do anything that might incite any person to violence. <br /> <br />E. Employees will not associate intimately with any person in custody of the <br />Cass County Sheriff s Office, nor the spouse, partner or significant other of <br />the person in custody. <br /> <br />F. Employees will not engage in any act of obtaining special privilege or <br />immunity from the law for any person. <br /> <br />G. Employees will not misuse or abuse Cass County Sheriffs Office radio <br />communication according to the regulations of the Federal Communication <br />Commission nor will the employee misuse or abuse Cass County Sheriff s <br />Office and Cass County equipment. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />H. <br /> <br />Employees will not willfully mistreat or give inhumane treatment to any <br />person held in custody or use more response to resistance than is reasonably <br />necessary to maintain control. <br /> <br />1. Employees will not post bond for any arrested person while on duty, III <br />uniform, or acting in the capacity of a deputy or working employee. <br /> <br />J. Bribery <br /> <br />1. No employee will accept, agree to accept or solicit a bribe. <br /> <br />K. No employee will engage in an act of extortion or other unlawful means of <br />obtaining money or property through a position as a Cass County Sheriff s <br />Office employee. <br /> <br />L. Alcohol <br /> <br />1. No employee will purchase and/or drink alcohol while on duty and in <br />uniform. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Any employee who refuses to submit to a breathe test will be subject to <br />disciplinary action. <br /> <br />\.... <br />
