Employees will not appear in public places while intoxicated whether <br />in uniform or in plain clothes and on official duty. <br /> <br />4. No employee while off duty and in uniform or any recognizable part <br />thereof, will drink any alcohol beverage in public view or public place. <br />No Cass County Sheriffs Office employee while off duty will <br />consume alcohol beverages to such an extent that he/she commits any <br />public act which might bring discredit to the Cass County Sheriff s <br />Office. <br /> <br />5. No employee while off duty and in uniform or any recognizable part <br />thereof, will appear in public places after consuming alcohol. <br /> <br />V. SEXVAL HARASSMENT: <br /> <br />Employees will not subject anyone to "unwelcome" sexual conduct that unreasonably <br />interferes with an employee's job performance or creates an intimidating, hostile or offensive <br />working environment. <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Sexual harassment includes but is not limited to: <br /> <br />.J <br /> <br />1. Sex discrimination <br /> <br />2. Sexual advances which are unwanted <br /> <br />3. Sexual gestures <br /> <br />4. Displaying sexually suggestive objects, pictures, cartoons or posters <br /> <br />5. Reprisals or threats after a negative response to sexual advancement <br /> <br />6. Unwelcome sexual advances, requests for favors, verbal or physical <br />conduct of a sexual nature as a basis for hiring or a condition of <br />employment <br /> <br />7. Employment benefits affected in exchange for sexual favors <br /> <br />8. Physical conduct such as assault, attempted rape, impeding or blocking <br />movement or touching <br /> <br />If the employee feels comfortable doing so, he/she should directly inform the person engaged <br />in such conduct or communications that such behavior is offensive, against policy and must <br />stop. <br /> <br />J <br />
