The bottom of the tag will be against and in line with the uppermost pocket seam, and centered over the pocket flap. 3. Service awards will be worn when in uniform in a horizontal manner, one-quarter inch above the deputy patch and centered over the nametag. 4. Shoulder patches will be worn on both sleeves of the long sleeve shirts, short sleeve shirts and any issued jackets or sweaters. 5. All ranked personnel will wear the appropriate pins and or insignias and placed on the uniform and uniform jacket in the appropriate location. 6. Unauthorized pins, medals emblems etc., will not be worn on any uniform or uniform jacket. D. Shoes/Boots/Socks: 1. Black shoes or boots will be worn. Excessive ornamentation will not be permitted. Only Cass County Sheriff Office uniforms and equipment approved by the Sheriff will be worn by personnel. 2. Supervisors will inspect their subordinates daily to insure that uniforms comply with department standards. 3. Any issued or approved equipment will be black in color and be leather, nylon or plastic carriers. G.
