<br />2008 Cass County Board of Equalization <br /> <br />501 Forest Ave N Unit H <br /> <br />Glenn Weiand is asking that the valuation be reduced on his condo unit, located in North <br />Fargo. The assessment was previously reduced from $79,900 to $71,000. Mr. Weiand <br />feels that he could sell the property himself somewhere in the mid 60' s range. <br /> <br />I did visit with Mr. Weiand at his property. The taxpayer did point out some deferred <br />maintenance items and felt his unit's condition was inferior compared to other units in the <br />facility. <br /> <br />The City of Fargo has provided documentation asking that the current valuation of <br />$71,000 be upheld. <br /> <br />Based on that information, it is my recommendation that the valuation as assessed by the <br />City be retained by simply taking no action on the appeal or by making the motion listed <br />below. <br /> <br />Suggested Motion: "I move that the total true and full valuation of $71,000 on 501 <br />Forest Ave N Unit H be retained, as recommended by the City of Fargo Assessment <br />office and the Director of Equalization." <br />
