Commission Minutes--January 20, 2004 2694 Mr. Vanyo said he was familiar with discussions for joint dispatch among area entities in the late 1980's when he served on the West Fargo City Commission. He feels it is unfortunate that West Fargo is not part of this operation today and hopes they will reconsider some day and that there will be opportunities at that time for other jurisdictions to join. Mrs. Colvin said they certainly have planned for future expansion and growth. Mrs. Sorum asked about new addressing guidelines for some West Fargo residents, and Mrs. Colvin indicated she worked with the Fargo and Cass County GIS Coordinators. She believes everyone is prepared for the transition. The board thanked Mrs. Colvin for her report and for her efforts in running a smooth operation at the Red River Regional Dispatch Center. 15. VOUCHERS, Approved MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to approve Voucher No. 183,893 through No. 184,356. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 16. MEETING UPDATES, Committee reports Commissioners and staff reported on meetings they have attended in the past two weeks, as well as upcoming meetings. 17. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to receive and file correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. notice from the City of Fargo of a petition for variance for construction of a fence by Michael Brekke on his property located at 7500 Chrisan Way; correspondence relating to jail inmate grievances filed by Jacquelyn L. Vigen and by Margaret M. Robinson (referred to Sheriff Don Rudnick). 18.
