RESOLUTION #2004-2, Extend personal property taxes to real property <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to adopt Resolution #2004-2 <br />pertaining to the extension of personal property taxes to real property <br />owned by tax debtor, Bob Schmidt. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #2004-2 <br />CERTIFYING AS A LIEN AGAINST REAL ESTATE PERSONAL PROPERTY TAXES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The North Dakota State Legislature, in Chapter 57-22 of the North Dakota <br />Century Code, has a process by which counties can, by resolution, create a <br />specific lien on particular descriptions of real property owned by the tax debtor <br />of personal property taxes, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Personal property taxes of Bob Schmidt remain unpaid, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bob Schmidt has interest in real property described as: <br /> <br />33-137-50 DESC TRACT SW 1f.a 6 ACRES <br /> <br />Beg at SW cor of see E to pt of inter with cntr of Shey R NE <br />alg R about 38 rds SE alg R about 40 rds to inter with S In see <br />W alg see In to inter with cntr of riv <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Cass <br />County, North Dakota, that the personal property taxes of Bob Schmidt in the amount of <br />$35.11 be made a specific lien on real property in Normanna Township, SW 1f.a of 33-137-50 <br />as described above. <br /> <br />Dated at Fargo, North Dakota, this 20th day of January, 2004. <br /> <br />9. LEASE ON FLOOD LOT, Aareement with Terry and Kay Compson <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to authorize the chair to sign <br />a lease of property agreement with Terry and Kay Compson, 4830 174th <br />Avenue SE, Horace, North Dakota, for county-owned land in Stanley <br />Township. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />10. ROAD DEPARTMENT, Quit claim deed for Hiahwav 10 riaht ofwav <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to authorize the chair to sign <br />a quit claim deed to correct a historical error in the Cass County Highway <br />10 right of way location in Section 31, Reed Township. On roll call vote, <br />the motion carried unanimously. <br />
