There was a right-of-way plat created
in 1936 by the St~te Highway Department and there was a deed
recorded to the county in 1936. Copies of both of those documents
are enclosed. Both documents refer to 117 feet - not the 120 feet
you show on your plat.

We went through a similar situation in 1999 with the area north of
County Road 20 and I have included the minutes and the deed that
was approved at that time. If you wish to pursue this, I would suggest
you have a quit claim deed prepared and send a letter to the County
Engineer, Keith Berndt with an offer to purchase. He will then present
the offer to the Cass County Commission. Keith's address is 1201
Main Ave West, West Fargo NO 58078

Sincerely,
