CASS <br /> <br />COUNTY <br /> <br />GOV 7012982395 12/15 '03 12:25 N0.812 02/08 <br /> <br /> CASS COUNTY, NORTH DAKOTA <br /> ENGINEERING SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />PROJECT CONCEPT REPORT, DESIGN,CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION, <br /> INSPECTION AND TESTING * <br /> <br />Project NO's,: CH <br /> <br />Location: Ca$$elton, ND <br />Length: .55 Miles <br /> <br />Type of Construction: Grading, PCC Paving and Incidentals <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT is entered into by and between Cass County, hereinafter known aa County, and <br />Moore Engineering, Inc,, hereinafter known as the ENGINEER. <br /> I. <br /> Scope of Work <br /> <br />The County agrees to engage the Engineer and the Engineer agrees to perform with the <br />approved pay and time schedule, the Work Statement as set forth below: <br /> <br /> PHASE I <br /> <br />Complete project concept report, wfth solicitation of views, Conduct public meetings. <br /> <br />PHASE# <br /> <br /> The Engineer shall prepare plans and specifications in accordance with AASHTO 1990 policy on <br />Geometric Design, North Dakota Department of Transportation Standard Speoifi~ttions dated <br />October 1997 anti revisions thereof. <br /> <br />PHASEffi <br /> <br />The Engineer shell perform the needed construction engineering work such as, but not limited to, <br />staking, Inspection, sampling ancl testing of materials, and measuring and computing pay <br />quantities. He shall prepare the required engineering and administrative documents and records <br />as required by the County end NDDOT. It is the Engineer's responsibility to perform cenetructlon <br />inspections to verify the Contractor's work is performed according to the governing specifications, <br />plans, and special provisions for Road and Bridge Construction, Materials Sampling and Testing <br />Manual, Field Office Procedures Manual, and Construction Manual. <br /> <br /> II. <br />PAYMENT <br /> <br /> The County will pay the Engineer en amount not to exceed as follows: <br />1. Phase I Project Concept Report: Lump Sum $5,150 <br />2. Phase I! D~sign: Lump Sum $41,900 <br />3. Phase III Contract administration, Inspection and Testing; Not to exceed $106,16,5 <br /> <br />a.
