04/01/21—Robert Matthews emails Grace Puppe with the confusion of the Township zoning authority <br /> and the ability to issue building permits. <br /> Jason Benson emailed Robert Matthews explaining the zoning authority of the township and <br /> the county's authority to subdivide as given in the NDCC. He also provided the Attorney <br /> General opinion of Wayne Stenehjem from 2002. <br /> 05/11/20—Lynn Mesteth from Dwyer Law Office emailed Grace Puppe a letter arguing the zoning <br /> authority of the township versus the subdivision authority of the county. Also included in the <br /> email was a zoning map for Stanley Township. <br /> 06/04/21—Tracy Peters emailed Lynn Mesteth further clarification on the township versus the county <br /> authority and let him know that there is currently a similar case in litigation. <br /> 06/10/21—Lynn Mesteth emailed Tracy Peters asking for the case number for the item that is to be <br /> litigated. <br /> 06/17/21—Lynn Mesteth emailed Tracy Peters a follow-up asking the case number. <br /> 06/25/21—Mary Beckover from Bremer Bank called Grace Puppe asking as to why a 911 Address has <br /> not been assigned yet for the Matthews Property as an address is needed for dosing. Grace <br /> explained that the property was not in compliance with the Cass County Subdivision <br /> ordinance. <br /> 06/29/21—Grace Puppe made a site visit and saw that there are footings for the 2nd house on the lot <br /> that was purchased by Derek & Elizabeth Drege. Pictures are included. <br /> 06/30/21—Grace Puppe mailed a letter to Robert and Vickie Matthews that a 911 address would be <br /> issued for the house and that the issuance of the 911 address does not address the <br /> subdivision of the property. The county still expects and required the property owner to go <br /> through the subdivision process.The letter was also emailed to Lynn Mesteth. <br /> 07/01/21—The 911 address was assigned for the residential structure on parcel 64-0000-03130-020. <br /> The new address is 11983 University Dr S, Horace, ND 58047. <br /> 08/16/21—Cass County received a permit for a house move to 11983 University Dr S.This would be the <br /> 2"d house to be moved to this location. <br /> 08/19/21—Grace Puppe made a site visit to verify the house move proceeded and the location of the <br /> house. Pictures were included. <br /> 08/27/21—Three more Auditor's lots(Auditor's Lots 6, 7, 8) were recorded as document# 1643588, <br /> 1643589, 1643590. <br /> Robert Matthews emailed Grace Puppe about the 911 address and referenced Mick <br /> Pfluegraths property which received a 911 address for a 2nd house on a 40-acre parcel. <br /> Stanley Township zoning allows for 2 houses to be built on one 40-acre parcel.This property <br /> had been previously platted. <br /> 09/08/21—Robert Matthews emailed Tracy Peters that all concerns should go directly to him and he will <br /> forward to his attorney.
