Commission Minutes-August 6,2007 3231 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That this resolution be inscribed upon the permanent records of the proceedings of the Board of County Commissioners and a copy be forwarded to Bonnie Johnson. b. Approve omitted assessments according to notices sent to property owners by the county auditor. c. Approve raffle permit for Minnkota Artifacts Recovery Group to be held November 16, 2007, at R & L Enterprises in Chaffee, North Dakota; and approve raffle permit for Nora Lutheran Church to be held October 6, 2007, at Nora Lutheran Church in Gardner, North Dakota. d. Approve raffle and poker permit for the Cass County Historical Society to be held August 18, 2007, at Bonanzaville, U.S.A. in West Fargo, North Dakota. e. Approve temporary pay increases for Deputy Loretta Orvedal and Deputy Mike Kasprick as acting jail shift supervisors for a period of five weeks each, as allowed by Personnel Policy 7.20, Acting Pay. f. Amend the District Court Grant Revenue Fund 101-1001-335.55-05 and the Courthouse General Maintenance Expenditure Fund 101-1503- 411.47-01 in the amount of $60,846.05 for fiscal year 2007 remodeling expenses in District Court; and Adjust the Social Service budget to implement the emergency air conditioning program as required by the North Dakota Department of Human Services by authorizing 100% use of the funded line item. g. Grant final plat approval to the following: CC Subdivision in Section 5, Township 138N, Range 50W in Cass County, North Dakota; South Branch Subdivision in Section 15, Township 140N, Range 50W in Cass County, North Dakota; and Choke Cherry Lane Subdivision in Section 32, Township 137N, Range 51W in Cass County, North Dakota. h. Authorize the chairman to sign a thank you letter to Can-Am Care Corporation for the donation of 500 folding canes to area veterans. i. Authorize the chairman to sign a letter of endorsement to nominate Deanna Kensrud for the Excellence in County Government Hall of Honor Award. j. Authorize the chairman to sign an easement agreement with Lako Drilling, Inc. for installation of a community well in Siebels Subdivision. k. Contract approval: North Dakota Department of Transportation-traffic safety grant amendment in the amount of $1,500 for travel expenses to allow Captain Mike Argall to attend law enforcement liaison training and to amend the 2007 Sheriff's Department revenue budget by $1,500; Ward County-programming services to make changes to property tax system as a result of House Bill 1332; Mark Sand & Gravel-contract and Resolution #2007-18, Accepting the Bid, Showing Receipt of Engineer's Statement of Estimated Cost and Directing the Execution of Contract for Street Improvement District No. 2007-1 for road improvements in Granberg's and Amber Plains Subdivisions.
