<br />After consideration of all the proposals, one company came out ahead in nearly every <br />aspect of evaluation. That company is CBM Food Service from Sioux Falls, SO. <br /> <br />CBM Food Service has a comprehensive support plan tor the jail, a comprehensive <br />training plan tor their staff and inmates, to include correctional officer training for statT, <br />and the savings to Cass County Government over the next few years is measurable. A <br />review by our nutritionist at NDSU also resulted in a CBM Food Service <br />recommendation. <br /> <br />We are currently paying our f()od service provider the following rates per meal: <br /> <br />Breakfast - <br />Lunch- <br />Oinner- <br /> <br />$1.25 <br />$1.35 <br />$1.30 <br /> <br />Total per day per inmate: <br /> <br />$3.900 <br /> <br />CBM Food Service will charge the following rates: <br /> <br />Breakfast- <br />Lunch- <br />Dinner- <br /> <br />$0.946 <br />$0.946 <br />$05>46 <br /> <br />Total per day per inmate: <br /> <br />$2.838 <br /> <br />Total Savings to Cass County Government: <br /> <br />$ 113,032.50 <br /> <br />The proposals submitted by all companies and the letter to the commission from Don and <br />Daria Rudnick are in the Commission Office for individual review.
