Hqusing standards--feline: Valley will provide a separate ward <br />apart from the canine ward with eleven (11) feline cages, Felines may be caged in <br />the canine ward for up to twelve (12) hours. <br /> <br />D. Floor plan and area for services: Valley will provide space for <br />pound services as described and pictorially designated.in Exhibit A, attached <br />hereto, <br /> <br />E. Adult animals will be fed once a day and immature onimaJ" will be <br />fed twice a day. Water will be available ro all ,;nimals at all times. Valley will <br />record and document the high and low temperature each day. <br /> <br />F. Exercise: Canines that appear adaptable to current outside <br />temperatures will be given exercise once a day. Canines will also be allowed to <br />ex=ise themselves. in the yard when weather conditions permit. Valley will <br />exercise canines outside of their cages twice a day. <br /> <br />G. Depositing or drop-off of on;ma Is: The City may impound <br />animals at any time by depositing animo'. in appropriately numbered cages or <br />runways provided at the pound. The City official shall record the cage or runway <br />number, the location where the animal was picked up, a brief description of the <br />anima] and any other pertinent information regarding and animal, such as injuries, <br />biting incidents and other data which might be relevant. The name, address and <br />phone number of any person who shall have been bitten by any anim'11 shalI be <br />also recorded. Forms for such purpose shall be supplied by Valley and shall be <br />available at all times at the anima J pound. <br /> <br />H. During regular business hours, de~ 'mim"l~ may be brought to the <br />pound. The cause and circumstances of the animal's death will be recorded. <br />After regular business. hours, dead animals will be brought to City Central Garage <br />and placed in the appropriate area for disposal or for future testing, if deemed <br />necessary. <br /> <br />. A citizen may turn an animal into the pound provided that the <br />citizen is not the owner of the .al and the anima] has not been in the citizen's <br />possession for more than :five days since it was found, <br /> <br />7.
