<br />N. Conduct bulking procedures only after the collection is completed, and <br />participants have left the collection site. <br /> <br />O. Transport Waste to authorized storage, treatment or disposal facilities and <br />ensure the final disposal of all Waste. <br /> <br />34. EQUIPMENT AND PERSONNEL FOR LOADING <br /> <br />Department will not provide equipment or personnel to assist Contractor to load its <br />truck(s) at the time of Waste collection. It is Contractor's responsibility to provide <br />necessary equipment and personnel to complete the collection. Loading may be <br />performed before or after State's normal work hours, on Saturdays, Sundays or <br />holidays, with prior Department approval. <br /> <br />35. WASTE SAMPLING AND ANALYSIS <br /> <br />A. Contractor will identify all unknown Waste through field hazardous waste <br />characterization "Hazcat" tests and profile as required for acceptance by <br />facilities for final disposal. If a particular Waste cannot be identified using <br />"Hazcat" analysis, it must be sampled for laboratory analysis. Contractor will <br />immediately notify Department of any samples submitted for laboratory <br />analysis. <br /> <br />B. If Contractor submits samples for laboratory analysis, these samples will be <br />handled, sorted, and analyzed in accordance with appropriate sampling and <br />laboratory practices endorsed by State and EPA. Contractor or Contractor's <br />laboratory will strictly adhere to prescribed methods, including provisions for <br />sample preparation, prescribed equipment, detection limits, and quality <br />assurance and quality control procedures. <br /> <br />C. Written analysis results must be submitted to Department within 14 calendar <br />days of sample submission. <br /> <br />D. Contractor shall identify any Waste that may not be accepted by any <br />treatment or disposal facility. Contractor is responsible for all Waste <br />collected to ensure proper and appropriate treatment or disposal. <br /> <br />36. WASTE RECORDS, PACKAGING AND STORAGE <br /> <br />A. Contractor will provide Department with a complete collection site log for the <br />Waste received from each participant from each collection site within 10 <br />calendar days after completion of the last collection event The collection <br />site log will include a description of the Waste by trade or generic name and <br />the volume or quantity of each Waste. <br /> <br />B. Contractor will provide Department with a Waste tracking report within 30 <br />days after the completion of the last collection event, which will fully account <br />for all Waste from collection sites to treatment or disposal facilities.
