Commission Minutes--November 15, 1999 2060 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Cass County Board of Commissioners believes the Forest Service should not proceed without objective, independent, scientific analysis to assess the impact of these proposed changes. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Cass County Board of Commissioners urges independent, objective, and scientific research into the economic and social impact of the proposed changes in grassland management before such changes are made into policy. HOLIDAY CLEARING BUREAU, Employee solicitation MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to allow the solicitation of clothing items from Cass County employees to be given to the Holiday Clearing Bureau for distribution to needy adults. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 6. ASSESSMENT OF OMITTED PROPERTIES, Approved MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to add the NW 1/4 of NE 1/4, Section 2 Township 143 Range 54 in Page Township as omitted property for the year 1999 in the amount of $56,000 residential structure according to notice sent from the county auditor to Matthew Olstad, Page ND. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to add a 7.27 acre tract in the NW 1/4, Section 8 Township 142 Range 50 in Gardner Township as omitted property for the year 1999 in the amount of $104,600 total true and full value according to notice sent from the county auditor to Matt and Lisa Yoney, Gardner, ND. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to add a 3.49 acre tract in the SW 1/4, Section 35 Township 137 Range 55 in Pontiac Township as omitted property for the year 1999 in the amount of $110,800 total true and full value according to notice sent from the county auditor to Shirley Pfaff, Enderlin ND. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to add SW 1/4 less right-of-way, Section 13 Township 138 Range 55 in Clifton Township as omitted property for the year 1999 in the amount of $68,900 total true and full value according to notice sent from the county auditor to Kevin and Rhea Johnson, Fargo ND. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
