<br />Commission Minutes--ApriI19, 1999 1970 <br /> <br />the abatement based on a report by the Stanley Township Assessor. Mr. Klein said the 1999 <br />valuation is set at $127,500, and he believes this is an appropriate value for 1997 and 1998. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded thatAbatement#4122 <br />and #4123 for Clifton and Donna Rodenburg be reduced to $127,500 <br />as recommended by the Director of Equalization. On roll call vote, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />13. VOUCHERS, Approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve Voucher No. <br />126,794 through No. 127,395. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />14. DEED FOR HIGHWAY 81 RIGHT-OF-WAY, Quit Claim Deed to adiacent landowner <br />After conferring with Mrs. Holmquist concerning the Quit Claim Deed for old Highway 81 right-of- <br />way, Mr. Burdick suggested proceeding with the earlier motion on this topic. Mrs. Quick invited <br />additional comments. Hearing none, the motion was repeated. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to approve the sale of <br />property in the SE 1/4 of Section 15, Township 140 North, Range 49 <br />West, no longer used as highway right-of-way, and as described on <br />the quit claim deed provided by the County Engineer, for the sum of <br />$500.00. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />15. TELEPHONE SERVICES, Contract with US West Communications: Lucent Technologies <br />Mike Steiner, Information Services Director, appeared before the Board with contracts for <br />renewal of service agreements and upgrading county telephone services. He suggested <br />approving two contracts with U.S. West Communications, Inc. subject to further review by the <br />State's Attorney. The State's Attorney has given approval to the Lucent Technologies contract. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to authorize the <br />chairperson to sign the U.S. West Digital Switch Service Rate Stability <br />Plan for Advanced Trunks, DID Trunk Termination and DS1 Agreement <br />Number ND01483, pending approval of the State's Attorney. On roll <br />call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to authorize the <br />chairperson to sign the U.S. West Private Switch/Automatic Location <br />Identification Service Agreement Number CDS-990405-0060, pending <br />approval of the State's Attorney. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to authorize the <br />chairperson to sign the Lucent Technologies Purchase/Service <br />Agreement for upgrading the county's Definity telephone switch to <br />
