Lester MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded that abatement #,4089 <br /> for Kathryn J. Lester be denied as recommended by the Director of <br /> Equalization, as the 1997 valuation is currently $23,800 and represents <br /> reflection of proper flood adjustment. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />TAX-FORFEITED PROPERTY, Chairman and auditor to sign County Deed <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to authorize the <br /> Chairman and the Auditor to sign one county deed for tax-forfeited <br /> property in the City of Alice sold to Terry and Patricia Gartner. On roll <br /> call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />TAX-FORFEITED PROPERTIES, Auditor to offer unsold properties to cities <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to authorize the County <br /> Auditor to offer to the city in which property is located the list of unsold <br /> properties from the annual tax sale for $1.00 per property plus recording <br /> fee of $10.00, and with the stipulation that the county will cancel all taxes <br /> and the city will cancel all specials against the property.
