15. <br /> <br />16. <br /> <br />17. <br /> <br />Commission Minutes--July 7, 1997 1651 <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to allow the Cass County <br />Sheriff to make application for 1998 Law Enforcement Block Grant funds <br />and to electronically sign the application on behalf of the chairman. On <br />roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ROAD DEPARTMENT, Authorize payment to Wagner Trucking MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to authorize payment to <br /> Wagner Trucking in the amount of $3,334.50. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SPACE AND PLANNING COMMITTEE, Ratify actions of July 7, 1997 <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to allow the Clerk of <br /> District Court to utilize the office space in the Courthouse on the north <br /> end of 2nd floor for filing cabinets and for jury sign-up. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SECOND READING/ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE #1997-3, Repulating use of County Park <br />campsites <br />The second reading of the ordinance was held by the County Commission at this time. A notice of <br />the proposed ordinance was published in the official county newspaper on June 2, 1997. The <br />ordinance will regulate and restrict the use of county park campsites. <br /> <br />Mr. Wieland asked for public comments and hearing none, asked the Commission for any comments <br />and for their recommendation. MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to adopt Ordinance #1997- <br /> 3 regulating and restricting the use of Cass County Park Campsites and <br /> to have the State's Attorney publish this ordinance with all other county <br /> ordinances into a handbook for Cass County law enforcement officials. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />CASS COUNTY GOVERNMENT <br />ORDINANCE #1997-3 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE REGULATING AND RESTRICTING THE USE OF CASS COUNTY PARK <br />CAMPSITES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County of Cass by the through the Cass County Board operates and maintains the <br />Cass County Park at Brewer Lake for the benefit of the citizens of Cass County and others; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the use of Cass County park campsites at Brewer Lake has increased significantly from <br />year to year and the demand for campsite services is greater than the available supply; and <br /> <br /> <br />
