On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve budget changes in the County Sheriff's Office relating to grant funds, accidents, and insurance recovery involving equipment replacement, as recommended by the County Auditor per letter dated June 27, 1997. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. STATE'S ATTORNEY, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve out-of-state travel for Julie Hough to attend the American Prosecutor's Annual Conference in Norfolk, Virginia, on July 13-17, 1997, with funding to be provided by VOCA Grant funds. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. SOCIAL SERVICES, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve out-of-state travel for Clare Mark to transport a child for parental visits on July 6, 13, 20, and 27, 1997, to Pelican Rapids, Minnesota. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT REQUESTS, COPS More Grant; 1998 Law Enforcement Block Grant MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to accept the 1996 COPS More Grant for equipment and authorize the chairman to sign the award documentation. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
