Commission Minutes--June 2, 1997 1633 ASSESSMENT NOTICE OF OMITTED PROPERTY, David Kane d/bla Bison Inn Pro.oerties. Inc. MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to add Lot 15 Block 4, Airport's 1st Addition in the City of Fargo, as omitted property for the years 1992 through 1996, according to the notice from the County Auditor to David Kane dlbla Bison Inn Properties, Inc., Fargo, North Dakota. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. BUDGET AMENDMENT FOR INSURANCE CLAIMS, Approved for Sheriff's Department MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to amend the 1997 revenue budget for insurance claims by $31,065 and the 1997 expenditure budget for Sheriff's equipment by $31,065 to allow them to replace the towers lost in the April, 1997, ice storm. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. ROAD DEPARTMENT, Purchase order for office furniture MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to authorize the chairman to sign purchase order for Highway Department office furniture in the amount of $16,559. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 10. CONTRACT APPROVAL, Sellin Brothers: North Dakota Department of Transportation and Dakota Bridge Builders; Fox Lawson & Associates MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve the following contracts submitted by respective department head and portfolio commissioner, subject to State's Attorney approval; and authorize the chairman to sign: On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. Sellin Brothers--County Highway 11 grading project in the amount of $658,850; North Dakota Department of Transportation and Dakota Bridge Builders--bridge between Sections 21-28, Pontiac Township, in the amount of $302,769; and Fox Lawson & Associates--compensation plan update. 11. PERSONNEL OVERVIEW COMMITTEE, Ratify_ actions of June 2. 1997 MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve the development of a market study compensation survey customized for Cass County Government, which would include a limited survey on benefits with all work to be performed by Fox Lawson & Associates, LLC. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
