Commission Minutes--June 2, 1997 1632 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS JUNE 2, 1997 MEETING TO ORDER Chairman Alon Wieland called the meeting to order at 3:40 PM with all members present as follows: Donna Schneider, Paul Koenig, John Meyer, Roberta Quick and Alon Wieland. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded that the minutes of the last regular meeting held May 19, 1997 and the special meetings of May 16 and May 27, 1997, be approved as written. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. m AGENDA, Order a~Droved MOTION, passed Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to approve the order of the agenda with the following additions: 1) ratify Personnel Overview Committee actions from meeting held earlier today; 2) resolution on notice of interest by Cass County in applying for hazard mitigation grant program funding; and 3) resolution to apply for national flood insurance. Motion carried. PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Approved for Red River Sho-Riders MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve raffle permit for Red River Sho-Riders to be held October 4, 1997, at the Wild Rice Bar & Grill, Wild Rice, ND. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. PERMIT FOR SPECIAL EVENT, Approved for Holiday Inn MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve special event permit for the Holiday Inn to serve alcoholic beverages for Melroe- European Customer Visit Group on the date of June 10, 1997, at Bonanzaville, West Fargo, ND. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. BOND FOR LOST INSTRUMENT, Received and filed for Highland Townshi_~ MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to receive and file Indemnity Bond on Lost Instrument for Highland Township; and authorize the county treasurer and county auditor to issue duplicate check. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
