10. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />Commission Minutes--February 3, 1997 1581 <br /> <br />ASSESSMENT NOTICE OF OMITTED PROPERTY, Wayne Freedland <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to add Section 33, <br /> Township 141, Range 49, NW % of NW % and NE % of NW % west of the <br /> river in Harwood Township as omitted property for the year 1996 in the <br /> amount of $70,000.00, according to notice from the county auditor to <br /> Wayne Freedland, Harwood, ND. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #1997-5, Arlene Sprunk, Register of Deeds MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to adopt the following <br /> resolution of support for Arlene Sprunk, Register of Deed's Office, as <br /> read by the Chairman: On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Arlene Sprunk has been employed by Cass County government since August 1, <br />1962, working first in the Auditor's Office before joining the Register of Deed's <br />Office in 1977; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Arlene Sprunk serves as the chief deputy for the Register of Deed's Office and <br />primarily handles real estate recordings and is well known and respected by <br />realtors, attorneys, bankers and lending institutions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Arlene Sprunk has been diagnosed with a serious illness and is truly missed by her <br />co-workers in Cass County because of the professionalism, dedication and positive <br />attitude she brings to the workplace. <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Cass County Board of Commissioners wishes Arlene <br />Sprunk Godspeed in her recovery and looks forward to her return to employment. <br /> <br />Approved and adopted this 3rd day of February, 1997. <br /> <br />ROAD DEPARTMENT, Out-of-state travel MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to approve out-of-state <br /> travel for Rich Sieg and Tom Soucy to attend Eagle Point computer <br /> training in Dubuque, Iowa February 3-7, 1997, according to <br /> memorandum from County Engineer dated January 27 and January 30, <br /> 1997. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SOCIAL SERVICES, Out-of-state travel MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to approve out-of-state <br /> travel for Social Services employees Roger Flynn to Bemidji, MN on <br /> February 20, 1997; and for Clare Mark to Pelican Rapids, MN on <br /> February 1, 1997. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
