On roll call vote, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />LOST <br /> <br />INSTRUMENT BOND, Received and filed for Delane Christensen <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to receive and file <br />Indemnity Bond on Lost Instrument for Delane Christensen and <br />authorize the county auditor and the county treasurer to issue a <br />duplicate check. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, A.n_~roved for Chaffee Lions Club MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve raffle <br /> permit for Chaffee Lions Club to be held at the Embden Farmers Union <br /> Oil Company, Embden, ND on the date of December 5, 1996. On roll <br /> call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ROAD DEPARTMENT, Sale of motor _=rader MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve sale of <br /> one 1979 Caterpillar Motor Grader in the amount of $45,050 to Watson <br /> Township. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />VETERANS SERVICE OFFICE, Acting pay approved for Beth Fischer <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> In accordance with Personnel Policy 7.20, Acting Pay, Mrs. Schneider <br /> moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve a 5% temporary salary <br /> adjustment for Veterans Service Office employee Beth Fischer <br /> beginning October 3, 1996 until James Brent, who is on medical leave, <br /> returns to work full time; the additional salary to be paid from the <br /> Veterans Service budget. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />CONTRACT APPROVAL, North Dakota De_~artment of Trans.nortation revised contract <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve revised <br /> contract with the North Dakota Department of Transportation for <br /> bituminous surfacing County Road t7 from three miles south of <br /> Horace; subject to approval of the State's Attorney. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />APPRAISAL OF TAX-FORFEITED PROPERTY, Hearing held <br />County Auditor Michael Montplaisir said this is the date and time advertised for hearing on the <br />appraisal of tax-forfeited property. Chairman Toussaint opened the public hearing and invited <br />comments from the public. No one asked to speak at this time. MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to close the public <br /> hearing. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
