On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously <br /> <br />PERSONNEL OVERVIEW COMMITTEE, Actions ratified from May 20th meeting <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to ratify Personnel <br /> Overview Committee action of May 20, 1996 as follows: 1) amend <br /> Personnel Policy Manual Section 2.60, Fleet Vehicle Policy, whereby the <br /> defensive driving course must be repeated every two years, as <br /> recommended by the county's insurance carrier; and 2) change the <br /> personnel senior secretary position in the Personnel Office from A13 to <br /> B21 in accordance with the current PAQ, the change to be effective with <br /> the June pay period. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />COMMISSION POLICY MANUAL AMENDED, Appointment to Vector Control Board <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to amend Commission <br /> Policy Manual Section 4.00, Advisory Boards, to appoint Clay Whittlesey <br /> to the Cass County Vector Control District #6 to fill a vacancy for a term <br /> to expire December 31, 2000. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />ASSESSMENT NOTICE OF OMITTED PROPERTY, Lot 16, Block 6, Highland Park <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to add Lot 16, Block 6, <br /> Highland Park, Reed Township, as omitted property for the year 1996 in <br /> the amount of $179,000 residential structure true and full value, <br /> according to notice from the County Auditor. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />LOST INSTRUMENT BOND, City_ of Amenia <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to receive and file <br /> Indemnity Bond on Lost Instrument for the City of Amenia, and authorize <br /> the county treasurer and the county auditor to issue duplicate check. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ROAD DEPARTMENT, Eldred Township special road funds; purchase orders approved <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to authorize County <br /> Engineer Keith Berndt to apply for special road funds on behalf of Eldred <br /> Township. All local match costs must be provided by Eldred Township. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve purchase <br />orders for Road Department equipment according to bid results <br /> <br /> <br />
