Commission Minutes--February 20, 1996 1437 <br /> <br />VETERAN'S SERVICE OFFICE, Budget transfer for computer equi_oment <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve transfer of <br /> $599 from the salary line item to the capital outlay line item in the <br /> Veteran's Service budget to allow for the purchase of a print server. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried with three members voting "Aye" and Mr. <br /> Eckert opposing. <br /> <br />ROAD DEPARTMENT, Purchase order for copier and chairs; budget adjustments: County <br />Road 17 planning study: Casselton school crossing project <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Ness seconded to authorize purchases <br /> exceeding Road Department budget line item for purchase of a copier <br /> from Office Systems, Inc. in the amount of $7,375 and conference room <br /> chairs from Reardon, Inc. in the amount of $2,825.64. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried with three members voting "Aye" and Mr. Eckert <br /> opposing. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve corrections <br />to previous 1995 budget adjustments requested by the County Engineer <br />Keith Bemdt, as follows: Road and Bridge Fund--S94,000; and Special <br />10 Mill Road Levy--S4,000. On roll call vote, motion carried with three <br />members voting "Aye" and Mr. Eckert opposing. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Ness seconded to authorize county <br />engineer to fund 10% of a County Highway 17 bus loading/unloading <br />planning study by Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan Council of <br />Governments; said study to be in accordance with the scope of work <br />and cost estimate provided with this request.
