Minutes--September 18, 1995 13~9 <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Cass <br />County, North Dakota, declare this to be an emergency for the purpose of utilizing emergency <br />funding for replacing the damaged tank. <br /> <br />Dated at Fargo, North Dakota, this 18th day of September, 1995. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />DATA PROCESSING, Purchase orders sioned for A~I400 fax software <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve purchase <br /> orders #96 and #97 in the amount of $12,000 for ASl400 fax software. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />RAFFLE PERMIT, Apr)roved for Four Corners Wildlife Club MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve raffle permit <br /> for Four Comers Wildlife Club at Embden, ND on the date of November <br /> 27, 1995. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />UNITED WAY CAMPAIGN, Em.oloyee .r)articipation MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that Cass County <br /> participate in the 1995 United Way campaign. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />13. <br /> <br />CONTRACT APPROVAL, U.S, West Communications: Dow Services <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the following <br /> contracts submitted by respective department head and portfolio <br /> commissioners, subject to State's Attorney approval, and authorize <br /> vice chairman to sign: U.S. West Communications for installation of <br /> high-speed data line between Cass County Courthouse and Road <br /> Department; and Dow Services for cleaning administrative area and rest <br /> rooms at Road Department office building. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />14. <br /> <br />COMMISSION MEETING, ~econd meeting in October rescheduled <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to reschedule the October <br /> 16, 1995 meeting of the Cass County Board of Commissioners to <br /> October 23, 1995 because of the North Dakota Association of Counties <br /> annual convention in Grand Forks, ND on October 15-18, 1995. On roll <br /> call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />15. <br /> <br />ROAD DEPARTMENT, Purchase order for two salt/sand s_oreaders <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize vice chair to <br /> sign purchase order for Road Department to purchase two salt/sand <br /> spreaders in the amount of $22,218. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
