On roll call vote, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to rename the Juvenile <br />Justice Center building, located at 1010 2nd Avenue South, as Cass <br />County Government Annex because the building now houses three floors <br />of Social Service employees and one floor of Extension Service <br />employees, in addition to Juvenile Services. On roll call vote, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />LOST INSTRUMENT BONDS, Clifford Jacobs: HUD <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to receive and file <br /> Indemnity Bonds on Lost Instrument for Clifford Jacobs and for Office of <br /> Housing and Urban Development (HUD); and authorize county treasurer <br /> and county auditor to issue duplicate checks. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />WEED CUTTING NOTICE, Publication authorized MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to authorize publication <br /> of the notice for weed cutting according to North Dakota Century Code. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, Out-of-state travel a0;roved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve out-of-state <br /> travel for Budd Warren to attend the Mid-States Organized Crime <br /> Information Center conference in Rapid City, SD on September 19-21, 1995. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />ROAD DEPARTMENT, Engineer to aooly for Federal Safety_ Funds MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to authorize County <br /> Engineer Keith Berndt to apply for Federal Safety Funds for school <br /> crossing improvements in Casselton and County Road 2 railroad crossing. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />NORTH DAKOTA ASSOCIATION OF COUNTIES, Delegate to state convention <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to designate Charlotte <br /> Sandvik as Cass County's delegate to the 1995 North Dakota Association <br /> of Counties/County Commissioners Association annual convention to be <br /> held October 15-18, 1995 in Grand Forks, ND; and to pay her expenses <br /> from the County Commission travel budget. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
