Minutes--August 7, 1995 1372 <br /> <br />ROAD DEPARTMENT, County Road 28 bituminous overlay <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to accept <br /> the bid of Border States Paving in the amount of <br /> $116,777.04 for a bituminous overlay to County Road 28 <br /> (fairgrounds road). On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />CONTRACT APPROVAL, NQrthern States Power Company. mosquito control <br />agreements, municipal court transfer cases. Border States Paving <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br /> the following contracts submitted by respective department <br /> head and portfolio commissioner, subject to State's <br /> Attorney approval; and authorize the chairman to sign: 1) <br /> Northern States Power Company for energy-control at the <br /> Juvenile Justice Center building; 2) mosquito control <br /> agreements with the cities of Harwood, Hunter, Amenia, <br /> Davenport, Casselton, Frontier, Horace and the Highland <br /> Park Property Association; 3) court services contracts <br /> with the cities of Fargo, West Fargo and Casselton for <br /> municipal court transfer cases; and 4) Border States Paving <br /> for County Road 28 bituminous overlay. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PLAT APPROVED, Final Dlat of Rademacher Subdivision <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that the <br /> Cass County Board of Commissioners grant Final Plat <br /> approval to Rademacher Subdivision, S~ of Section 17 of <br /> Township 140N Range 52W in Cass County, North Dakota. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SOCIAL SERVICES, ~mgrgency hire of temporary_ LIHEAP eligibility worker <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to allow <br /> for the emergency hire of Becky Lindstrom in Social <br /> Services for August 14, 15 and 16, 1995; and to pay Ms. <br /> Lindstrom for all three days in the August pay period. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #1995-20, Condolences to family of Oscar Sondrall <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to adopt <br /> following resolution of condolence to the family of Oscar <br /> Sondrall. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Cass County Commissioners has learned of <br />the death of Oscar $ondrall of Fargo, North Dakota; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Oscar Sondrall served as a member of the Board of Cass <br />County Commissioners for 18 years--from 1971 through 1980 and from <br />1983 through 1990. <br /> <br /> <br />
