On roll <br /> call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />13. <br /> <br />CONTRACT APPROVAL, American Bank National Association; Mosouito <br />Control Aore~ment with City of Arthur, North Dakota Game and Fish <br />Department orant aoreement MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br /> the following contracts submitted by respective department <br /> heads and portfolio commissioner, subject to State's <br /> Attorney approval; and authorize the chairman to sign: 1) <br /> American Bank National Association; 2) City of Arthur for <br /> mosquito control; and 3) North Dakota Game and Fish <br /> Department grant agreement on behalf of Valley Water <br /> Rescue. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />14. <br /> <br />PERSONNEL OVERVIEW COMMITTEE, Ratify action of July 17. 1995 <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to ratify <br /> Personnel Overview Committee action of July 17, 1995 to <br /> approve hiring Jeffrey Olson to a field deputy position in <br /> the Sheriff's Office in the B32 category at a starting <br /> salary of $25,248. Due to a relationship through marriage, <br /> he will be under no direct supervisory responsibilities by <br /> Mike Argall, which would include evaluations and any <br /> disciplinary action. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />15. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #1995-13, BQrderud's Subdivision street improvement <br />The Board of County Commissioners proceeded to consider the matter of <br />bids for the furnishing of materials and labor for Street Improvement <br />District No. 95-1 of Cass County (Borderud's Subdivision). Sealed <br />bids were properly submitted and previously opened by the County <br />Auditor as follows: <br /> <br />Border States Paving <br />F-M Asphalt, Inc. <br />Northern Improvement Co. <br /> <br />$72,934.70 <br /> 86,502.00 <br /> 87,128.00 <br /> <br />A letter was received from Jeffry Volk, Project Engineer, under date <br />of July 7, 1995, stating the homeowners have determined not to <br />construct the water service improvements at this time in order to <br />bring the project back into budget. <br /> <br /> <br />
