Minutes--July 17, 1995 1362 <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />ll. <br /> <br />CHILD SUPPORT ENFORCEMENT, Out-of-state travel approved <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br /> out-of-state travel for Assistant Cass County State's <br /> Attorney Dan Bertsch and caseworker Brenda Krueger to <br /> attend the National Child Support Enforcement Association's <br /> 44th Annual Training Conference in Kansas City, Missouri, <br /> on August 20-24, 1995. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />ROAD DEPARTMENT, Qut-of-state travel approved <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br /> out-of-state travel for County Engineer Keith Berndt to <br /> attend HTE software demonstration (at HTE'S expense) in <br /> Orlando, Florida, on July 31-August 1, 1995. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />AUDITOR, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br /> out-of-state travel for County Auditor Michael Montplaisir <br /> to attend a training class n OMB Circular A-87 according to <br /> his letter dated July 7, 1995. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ABATEMENT APPLICATION, Approved for Jerry Meyers MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that <br /> abatement #4009 for Jerry A. Meyers be approved as <br /> presented by Director of Equalization Frank Klein, per his <br /> investigation dated June 21, 1995. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously· <br /> <br />PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Women's Network of the Red River Valley <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br /> raffle permit for Women's Network of the Red River Valley <br /> to be held August 26, 1995, at Bonanzaville, West Fargo, <br /> North Dakota· On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously· <br /> <br />SOCIAL SERVICE BOARD, R~ifv actions of July 17. 1995 MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to ratify <br /> Social Service Board actions of July 17, 1995, as follows: <br /> 1) approve purchase of Lanier copy machines for ~26,096.40; <br /> 2) that Social Services try pre-sort mailing on a temporary <br /> basis for two months and, in the meantime, prepare request <br /> for bids if this works on a temporary basis; 3) approve <br /> purchase of children's furniture from Steffens Office <br /> Equipment at a total cost of ~1,139; and 4) approve budget <br /> <br /> <br />
