Minutes--June 5, 1995 1342 <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />13. <br /> <br />14. <br /> <br />15. <br /> <br />ROAD DEPARTMENT, Vector Control eauiDment purchase order <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to authorize <br /> chairman to sign purchase order for vector control equipment <br /> (replacement of ultra-low volume sprayer). On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ROAD DEPARTMENT, County Road 28 asphalt overlay <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to authorize <br /> County Engineer Keith Berndt to proceed with 1995 overlay <br /> project on County Highway 28, according to memorandum dated <br /> May 25, 1995. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />VEHICLE POLICY COMMITTEE ACTIONS OF JUNE 5th RATIFIED, State's Attorney <br />and Sheriff Department vehicles MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to re-assign <br /> Chevrolet Astro Van to the States Attorney's welfare fraud <br /> investigator to be used in States Attorney car pool, which is <br /> also available for other county offices, and monitor vehicle <br /> usage for a three month period for further discussion at <br /> budget time. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to have the <br />State's Attorney transfer title on the BMW to Cass County <br />Government. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to ratify <br />Vehicle Policy Committee action of June 5, 1995 to approve <br />disposal of the following vehicles from the Sheriff's <br />Department fleet to be sold at auction on June 10, 1995:1987 <br />Chevrolet Celebrity with approximately 99,000 miles; 1988 <br />Chevrolet Celebrity with approximately 96,000 miles; 1990 <br />Chevrolet Caprice with approximately 135,000 miles; 1990 <br />Chevrolet Caprice with approximately 128,000 miles; 1990 <br />Chevrolet Caprice with approximately 132,000 miles; 1992 <br />Chevrolet S-10, 4-wheel drive blazer with approximately <br />94,000 miles; 1992 Chevrolet S-10, 4-wheel drive blazer with <br />approximately 95,000 miles; 1992 Chevrolet S-10, 4-wheel <br />drive blazer with approximately 110,000 miles. On roll call <br />vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />TAX EQUALIZATION BOARD, Convened for 1995 <br />The Board convened as the 1995 County Board of Tax Equalization. Frank <br />Klein, Director of Equalization, provided a written report to <br />Commissioners dated May 25, 1995. He said Cass County's 1995 projected <br />net taxable value is $177,716,862, which represents a 6% increase over <br />the 1994 net taxable value. <br /> <br /> <br />
