Comm. Minutes--December 19, 1994 1280 <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, Military leave of absence approved <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve a <br /> military leave of absence request as submitted by part-time <br /> jail officer Cynthia Shoberg for the period of January 2, <br /> 1995 through May 21, 1995, in accordance with Personnel <br /> Policy Manual, Section 7.70. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />VEHICLE MAINTENANCE, Bids accepted MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve Amoco <br /> Oil Company as vehicle maintenance vendor for 1995. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ROAD ENGINEER, Application for transportation enhancement funds <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to authorize <br /> County Engineer Keith Berndt to apply for 1996 Federal <br /> Transportation Enhancement Funds for adding paved shoulders <br /> (Class II bicycle lane) to County Highway 81 from the Fargo <br /> city limits to 88th Avenue. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />LOST INSTRUMENT BOND, Received and filed <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to receive and <br /> file Indemnity Bond on Lost Instrument for Tuan Nguyen, and <br /> authorize county auditor to issue duplicate check. On roll <br /> call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />CONTRACT APPROVAL, MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve the <br /> following contracts submitted by respective department <br /> heads and portfolio commissioners, subject to State's <br /> Attorney approval; and authorize the chairman to sign: On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />· Richland-Wahpeton Law Enforcement Center--board of prisoners <br /> Centre, Inc.--detoxification services <br />· Office of State Toxicologist--breath alcohol screening devices <br /> Honeywell, Inc.--environmental systems maintenance <br /> Ernst & Young--performance evaluation training <br /> Griggs and Richland County--board of prisoners <br /> Quanbeck Planning and Research--county planning services <br /> City of Fargo--extension of 911 and dispatch agreement <br /> <br />BEER AND LIQUOR LICENSE, Renewal for 1995 <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br /> application for renewal of 1995 county beer and liquor <br /> license, including Sunday endorsement, for Richard <br /> Schroeder of Chaffee, as reviewed by the State's Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
