UTILITY PERMIT, Approved for Cass Rural Waters Users MOTION, passed Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize chairman to sign utility permit for Cass Rural Water Users to install 1~" PVC water supply line crossing Cass County #32 in the southwest quarter of Section 19, Rush River Township. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. UTILITY PERMITS, Procedural chan~e approved MOTION, passed Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize County Engineer to approve future permits for utility construction within the county highway right-of-way in order to minimize unnecessary administrative work. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. BENEFITS REVIEW COMMITTEE, Restructuring approved MOTION, passed In an effort to involve more department heads on committee assignments, Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to restructure the Employee Benefits Committee by replacing the county auditor and county coordinator with two new members to be selected by the Cass County Department Heads. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. CONTRACT APPROVAL, Cass County Lunch Counter, Houston Engineering MOTION, passed Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize the chairman to sign contracts with the following: Vivian Miller as an independent contractor to operate and manage the Cass County Courthouse Lunch Counter; and Houston Engineering for bridge replacement design fees for three projects included in the 1994 construction program. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously· STATES ATTORNEY'S OFFICE, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve out- of-state travel request for Cass County Victim Witness Coordinator, Julie Hough, to attend the National Training Conference on Civil Justice for Crime Victims presented by the National Victim's Center to be held in Washington, D.C. on December 6-7, 1993. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. LOST INSTRUMENT BOND, City of Alice MOTION, passed Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to receive and file Indemnity Bond on Lost Instrument for City of Alice, and authorize the County Auditor to issue a duplicate check. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
