Minutes--June 21, 1993 1051 <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />PERMIT FOR SITE AUTHORIZATION, Approved for Veterans Club, Inc. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to grant site <br /> authorization permits for Veterans Club Inc. to conduct <br /> games of chance under license issued by North Dakota <br /> Attorney General's Office for the period of July 1, 1993 <br /> through June 30, 1994 at two locations -- Club 94 and <br /> Shamrock Bar. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />PERSONNEL OVERVIEW COMMITTEE, Actions of June 21, 1993 ratified <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that the <br /> classification for the position of Regional Child Support <br /> Enforcement Director and Senior Assistant State's Attorney <br /> be classified at the DBM 62 level because one person is <br /> holding both positions and has performed in that function <br /> under the established policy on file in the Personnel <br /> Office; this action being retroactive to May 1, 1993. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to grant the <br />request of Michael Steiner, Data Processing Coordinator, to <br />recognize prior years of service and move him to the mid- <br />point of the DBM 61 range in reference to the 1993 salary <br />plan on the basis of which he was hired, this being <br />effective on his anniversary date of June 12th. On roll <br />call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that the County <br />Superintendent of Schools work with the County Coordinator <br />to recruit current personnel from other county departments <br />to assist with annual reports for up to 120 hours; and if <br />that is not feasible, authorize hiring a part-time hourly <br />person, with funds being paid from county contingency. On <br />roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SOCIAL SERVICES, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve out- <br /> of-state travel for Bobbie Geiger and Sheila Schmaltz, <br /> Social Services employees, to Fergus Falls, MN on May 28, <br /> 1993. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />COMPREHENSIVE ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT, Year ended December 31, 1992 <br />Annette Ingulsrud, CPA, County Auditor's Office, presented copies to <br />Commissioners of the recently completed Comprehensive Annual Financial <br />Report for the year ended December 31, 1992. She said it was a goal <br />of the department to have this type of information available to the <br />citizens of Cass County, and information in the report will be updated <br />annually. Upon certification by GFOA (Government Finance Officers <br />Association), the report may improve the county's bond rating when <br />financing is needed. <br /> <br /> <br />
