Minutes--June 7, 1993 1038 <br /> <br />PERMIT FOR SPECIAL EVENT, Country Hospitality Suites of Farqo <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve permit <br /> for special event for Country Hospitality Suites of Fargo <br /> to sell alcoholic beverages at the Great Plains Software <br /> barbecue to be held at Bonanzaville on June 25, 1993. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />BUDGET CALENDAR FOR 1994, Approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve the <br /> budget calendar for 1994 as presented by the Finance <br /> Committee. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PERSONNEL OVERVIEW ACTIONS, Ratified MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Risher seconded that county <br /> department heads be notified one month in advance of <br /> necessary evaluations and that salary increases only be <br /> given after satisfactory written performance evaluation has <br /> been submitted to Personnel by department head. On roll <br /> call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Risher seconded that Road <br />Department, weed Control and Vector Control seasonal <br />employees, including Weed and Vector Directors, complete <br />PAQs and forward all unclassified employees, including <br />directors, to Ernst & Young for classification. On roll <br />call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Risher seconded to direct the <br />Personnel Department to facilitate the paperwork for <br />development of a seasonal employee policy for inclusion in <br />the Cass County Personnel Policy Manual. On roll call <br />vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Risher seconded to incorporate a <br />policy on infectious diseases exposure and control into the <br />Cass County Personnel Policy Manual, and that Kathy Hogan, <br />Michael Montplaisir and Glenn Ellingsberg work on <br />development of this policy. On roll call vote, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, Dassed <br />Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Risher seconded to revise personnel <br />policy section 2.10 to add the following underlined <br />language in the first paragraph: "Unless approved by the <br />County Commission, there shall be no direct solicitation of <br />individual employees or distribution of unauthorized <br />literature of any kind on county property.
