Minutes--June 7, 1993 1037 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> JUNE 7, 1993 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint called the meeting to order at 3:30 <br />PM with all members present as follows: Don Eckert, Steve Risher, <br />Alon Wieland, Bernie M. Ness and Sharon Toussaint. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Ness seconded that minutes of the <br /> previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve the <br /> order of the agenda with the following revisions: 1) move <br /> Sheriff's Department requests from consent to regular <br /> agenda; 2) withdraw Wild Rice River Estates Subdivision <br /> application from this agenda because additional information <br /> from Attorney Jonathan Garaas is to be submitted to the <br /> County Planning Commission; and 3) ratify Social Service <br /> Board actions from June 7, 1993 meeting. Motion carried. <br /> <br />STAFF COMMENDATION, Kathy Ziegelmann, Child Support Enforcement <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Risher seconded to send a letter of <br /> commendation to Kathy Ziegelmann, Child Support Enforcement <br /> Director, for her leadership in helping develop a smoking <br /> policy for Cass County Government. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SITE AUTHORIZATION PERMIT, Approved for Erie American Legion <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve site <br /> authorization permit for Dokken & Schroeder Post #0223, <br /> Erie American Legion, to conduct games of chance under <br /> license issued by North Dakota Attorney General's Office <br /> for the period of July 1, 1993, through June 30, 1994. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Approved for Chaffee Centennial Club, Northern <br />Plains Rabbit Breeders Association, St. Benedict's Church MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve raffle <br /> permits for Chaffee Centennial Club to be held July 3 and <br /> 4, 1993, at Chaffee School, in Chaffee, North Dakota; for <br /> Northern Plains Rabbit Breeders Association to be held <br /> October 16, 1993, at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds; and <br /> for St. Benedict's Church to be held September 19, 1993, at <br /> St. Benedict's Church in Horace, North Dakota. On roll <br /> call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
