Minutes--April 5, 1993 1012 <br /> <br /> Standing Committees; to include Lake Agassiz Regional <br />Council under Non-Statutory Boards with Commission Service; <br />and to appoint Bernie Ness to replace Steve Risher on the <br />Lake Agassiz Regional Council for the remainder of 1993. <br />On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PERSONNEL POLICY MANUAL, Amend Section 4.20 MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to amend Cass <br /> County Personnel Policy Manual, Section 4.20, adding a <br /> reference to the Cass County Recruitment Guidelines <br /> handbook adopted in February, 1993. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />COUNTY SHOP PROPERTY, Sold to City of Casselton MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize <br /> chairman and county auditor to sign quit claim deed to the <br /> City of Casselton for the sale of former County Shop <br /> property described as Lot 14 and the west 30' of Lot 15, <br /> Block 4, Powers Addition, City of Casselton, with <br /> conditions on the emergency antenna tower, transmitter and <br /> back-up batteries, as stated in said deed. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, Crime Stoppers contribution; disaster exercise; <br />out-of-state travel <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that the Sheriff <br /> be authorized to disburse $2,000 from his budget to Crime <br /> Stoppers. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize <br />Lyndon Worden to hold a tabletop exercise on May 24th, <br />1993, and to coordinate such activities with the County <br />Commission and disaster support staff. On roll call vote, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve out- <br />of-state travel for Ray Bauske and Linda Skogen to attend <br />the American Jail Association's 12th Annual training <br />conference on May 16-20, 1993, in Portland, Oregon. On <br />roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />CHILD SUPPORT ENFORCEMENT UNIT, Temporary staff position approved <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve <br /> request of Kathy Ziegelmann, Regional Child Support <br /> Enforcement Director, to hire Jean Haase as a temporary <br /> case analyst at a salary of $7.00 per hour for <br /> approximately 425 hours under terms and conditions provided <br /> by Ms. Ziegelmann. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
