Minutes--March 19, 1993 1008 <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />ROAD DEPARTMENT, Utility permit; construction and maintenance <br />agreements (Wild Rice and Sheyenne Rivers) MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Risher seconded to authorize <br /> chairman to sign utility permit for Raymond Township to <br /> install a water line under Cass County Road #22 in Prosper, <br /> ND. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Risher seconded to authorize <br />chairman to sign North Dakota Department of Transportation <br />Agreement for Construction and Maintenance and Right of Way <br />Certificate for Project No. BRO 9(15), Wild Rice River, two <br />miles west and 1 mile south of Hickson. On roll call vote, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Risher seconded to authorize <br />chairman to sign North Dakota Department of Transportation <br />Agreement for Construction and Maintenance and Right of Way <br />Certificate for Project No. BRO 9(14), Sheyenne River in <br />Horace. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />BENEFITS REVIEW COMMITTEE, Appointment of Steve Risher MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Risher seconded to appoint Steve <br /> Risher to the Employee Benefits Review Committee. On roll <br /> call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PERMIT FOR BINGO, Kindred Close-Up Club MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve a bingo <br /> permit for Kindred High School Close-Up Club on the date of <br /> March 20, 1993, at the Kindred High School. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #1993-4, Legislation opposed MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Risher seconded to adopt Resolution <br /> #1993-4 opposing SB2201 concerning road construction <br /> mandates. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, D.A.R.E. program grant approved; narcotics <br />officer grant/out-of-state travel approved <br />Delayed from the previous meeting were Sheriff's Department grant <br />requests for the D.A.R.E. program, narcotics officer funding/out-of- <br />state travel, and a live scan fingerprint system. <br /> <br />Sheriff Don Rudnick said he is withdrawing the grant request for the <br />fingerprint system because he doesn't have all the information on <br />maintenance for such a system. Also, the grant was not included in <br />the 1993 budget because of a lack of federal funds, which were later <br />restored but not in time to be included in the county budget, he said. <br /> <br /> <br />
