Minutes--February 16, 1993 995 PERSONNEL POLICY MANUAL, Section 1.20 amended MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Ness seconded to amend Cass County Personnel Policy Manual, Section 1.20, (Organizational Chart) as updated. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. APPOINTMENT TO SCHOOL REORGANIZATION, Dennis Gullickson appointed MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Ness seconded to appoint Dennis Gullickson to represent Commission District #4 on the Cass County School Reorganization Committee for a three-year term ending December 31, 1995, replacing James Brothers. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 10. JAIL NURSE, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve out-of- state travel for Lyla Rath to attend the American Correctional Health Services Association training seminar in Atlanta, Georgia, on March 11-14, 1993. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 11. SPACE AND PLANNING COMMITTEE, Membership changes approved MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Ness seconded to accept the resignation of Earl Haugen from the Space and Planning Committee and add two new members, namely Keith Berndt and Kathy Ziegelmann. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 12. METROPOLITAN COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS, Utility corridor study approved MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Ness seconded to adopt the December, 1992, Metropolitan Utility Corridor Study and direct the planning staff to present a recommendation of what action, if any, the County should take in utility corridor issues. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 13. CONTRACT APPROVAL, Gri~s Co,~nty for board of prisoners; Centre, Inc.; Barnes County for board of prisoners and juvenile detention MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve the above contracts reviewed by the State's Attorney and signed by respective department head and portfolio commissioner; and authorize the chairman to sign. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 14. SHERIFF DEPARTMENT, Jail policy manual approved Chairman Toussaint asked Sheriff Don Rudnick to tell Commissioners what the difference is in the jail policy manual which he presented to Commissioners at the last meeting versus the manual being used prior to this time.
