On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT TO SCHOOL REORGANIZATION, Dennis Gullickson appointed <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Ness seconded to appoint Dennis <br /> Gullickson to represent Commission District #4 on the Cass <br /> County School Reorganization Committee for a three-year <br /> term ending December 31, 1995, replacing James Brothers. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />JAIL NURSE, Out-of-state travel approved <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve out-of- <br /> state travel for Lyla Rath to attend the American <br /> Correctional Health Services Association training seminar <br /> in Atlanta, Georgia, on March 11-14, 1993. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />SPACE AND PLANNING COMMITTEE, Membership changes approved <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Ness seconded to accept the <br /> resignation of Earl Haugen from the Space and Planning <br /> Committee and add two new members, namely Keith Berndt and <br /> Kathy Ziegelmann. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />METROPOLITAN COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS, Utility corridor study approved <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Ness seconded to adopt the <br /> December, 1992, Metropolitan Utility Corridor Study and <br /> direct the planning staff to present a recommendation of <br /> what action, if any, the County should take in utility <br /> corridor issues. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />13. <br /> <br />CONTRACT APPROVAL, Gri~s Co,~nty for board of prisoners; Centre, Inc.; <br />Barnes County for board of prisoners and juvenile detention <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve the <br /> above contracts reviewed by the State's Attorney and signed <br /> by respective department head and portfolio commissioner; <br /> and authorize the chairman to sign. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />14. <br /> <br />SHERIFF DEPARTMENT, Jail policy manual approved <br />Chairman Toussaint asked Sheriff Don Rudnick to tell Commissioners <br />what the difference is in the jail policy manual which he presented <br />to Commissioners at the last meeting versus the manual being used <br />prior to this time. <br /> <br /> <br />
