Comm. Minutes--February 16, 1993 994 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FEBRUARY 16, 1993 (TUESDAY) MEETING TO ORDER Chairman Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Don Eckert, Steve Risher, Alon Wieland, Bernie M. Ness and Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Risher seconded that minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried· AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve the order of agenda, adding contract with Barnes County for board of prisoners and juvenile detention under contract approval on the consent agenda. Motion carried. PERSONNEL, Recruitment procedures approved MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve Cass County recruitment procedures as recommended by the Personnel Department and the Personnel Overview Committee. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously· COURTHOUSE PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENTS, Bid advertisement MOTION, passed Mr. Wi,land moved and Mr. Ness seconded to authorize the advertisement of bids for parking lot improvements with a bid opening date of March 29, 1993, at 10:00 AM in the Cass County Commission Room. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. COURTHOUSE LAWN MAINTENANCE, Bid advertisement MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Ness seconded to request proposals on lawn maintenance. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. APPOINTMENT OF JUDICIAL MAGISTRATE/REFEREE, County Court MOTION, passed Mr. Wi,land moved and Mr. Ness seconded to confirm appointment of Ralph Erickson as part-time Judicial Magistrate and Referee for Cass County, and authorize the chairman to sign Order of Appointment· On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously·
