On <br />roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />13. <br /> <br />CONTRACT APPROVAL, Disposition of fees on municipal transfer cases for <br />the cities of Fargo, West Fargo and Casselton; Houston Engineers; <br />Southeastern North Dakota Community Action Agency for Head Start <br />Program; Fargo Community Health for Social Service pro~rams MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve <br /> contracts with the above named, as reviewed by the State's <br /> Attorney and signed by respective department heads and <br /> portfolio commissioners; and authorize chairman to sign. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />LOST INSTRUMENT BONDS, Received and filed, duplicate checks issued <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to receive and <br /> file Bonds for Lost Instrument from the following, and <br /> authorize county auditor to issue duplicate checks: City <br /> of Horace, City of Oxbow, City of Page, Harmony Township, <br /> City of Oxbow, Max Air Sales and Service, and Horace Park. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />14. <br /> <br />PLANNING DEPARTMENT, Planning priorities/Metro COG response <br />Linda Gaughan, Cass County Planning Commission Chair, appeared on <br />behalf of the County Planning Commission and outlined a list of <br />planning priorities, which she submitted by memo to Chairman Alon <br />Wieland dated December 9, 1992. She said the County Planning <br />Commission is still uncomfortable with the planning department budget <br />cut made by the County Commission and they want to ensure that good <br />planning takes place to the benefit of the county. <br /> <br />Mr. Wieland said it wasn't the intent of the County Commission to <br />abolish the planning department. The 1993 planning budget includes <br />a half-time planner position rather than full-time. <br /> <br /> <br />
