Minutes--November 2, 1992 946 <br /> <br />13. <br /> <br />CONTRACT APPROVAL, Social Services Respite Care MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to authorize <br /> Chairman to sign contract with Easter Seal Society of North <br /> Dakota for Respite Child Care Program for the period <br /> through June 30, 1993. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />14. <br /> <br />CONTRACT APPROVAL, Software purchase <br />MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to authorize <br /> the Chairman to sign the Professional Computer Software <br /> Services (PCSS) License and Customer Support Agreements and <br /> to allow the County Auditor to issue a check in the amount <br /> of $30,000 to Professional Computer Software Services per <br /> the terms of the License Agreement. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />15. <br /> <br />SITE AUTHORIZATION PERMIT, Veterans Club, Inc. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br /> site authorization permit for Veterans Club, Inc. to <br /> conduct games of chance under license issued by North <br /> Dakota Attorney General's Office at the location known as <br /> Southfork Saloon & Grill, Wild Rice, ND, for the period <br /> beginning November 14, 1992, through June 30, 1993. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />16. <br /> <br />SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED PROPERTY, Purchased by City of Kindred <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to authorize <br /> Chairman and County Auditor to sign County Deed to the City <br /> of Kindred for the purchase of tax-forfeited property. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />17. <br /> <br />APPRAISAL OF TAX-FORFEITED LOTS, Hearing held <br />County Auditor Michael Montplaisir said this is the date and time <br />advertised for a public hearing on the appraisal of tax-forfeited <br />property. The Chairman opened the hearing inviting public entities <br />to address the issue of the appraisal on tax-forfeited properties. <br />No one asked to speak at this time and the hearing was closed. Mr. <br />Montplaisir said the sale of tax-forfeited property will be held on <br />November 17, 1992, beginning at 10:00 AM. <br /> <br />18. <br /> <br />PLAT APPROVAL, Casselton Great Plains First Subdivision <br />Chairman Wieland opened the public hearing at this time on the final <br />plat of Casselton Great Plains First Subdivision located in the NE~ <br />of Section 31, Casselton Township. No one asked to address the <br />Commission on this issue. The Chairman closed the public hearing and <br />proceeded with recommendations of the County Planning Department, <br />according to documentation submitted with the subdivision application. <br /> <br />County Planner Earl Haugen said the Casselton Airport Authority went <br />on record opposing the site, but at the hearing held by the Casselton- <br />Everest Joint Township Zoning Board, the application was approved with <br />conditions, which eased the objections of the Airport Authority. <br /> <br /> <br />
