CONTRACT APPROVAL, Social Services Respite Care MOTION, passed Mr. Shannon moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to authorize Chairman to sign contract with Easter Seal Society of North Dakota for Respite Child Care Program for the period through June 30, 1993. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 14. CONTRACT APPROVAL, Software purchase MOTION, passed Mr. Shannon moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to authorize the Chairman to sign the Professional Computer Software Services (PCSS) License and Customer Support Agreements and to allow the County Auditor to issue a check in the amount of $30,000 to Professional Computer Software Services per the terms of the License Agreement. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 15. SITE AUTHORIZATION PERMIT, Veterans Club, Inc. MOTION, passed Mr. Shannon moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve site authorization permit for Veterans Club, Inc. to conduct games of chance under license issued by North Dakota Attorney General's Office at the location known as Southfork Saloon & Grill, Wild Rice, ND, for the period beginning November 14, 1992, through June 30, 1993. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 16. SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED PROPERTY, Purchased by City of Kindred MOTION, passed Mr. Shannon moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to authorize Chairman and County Auditor to sign County Deed to the City of Kindred for the purchase of tax-forfeited property. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 17. APPRAISAL OF TAX-FORFEITED LOTS, Hearing held County Auditor Michael Montplaisir said this is the date and time advertised for a public hearing on the appraisal of tax-forfeited property. The Chairman opened the hearing inviting public entities to address the issue of the appraisal on tax-forfeited properties. No one asked to speak at this time and the hearing was closed. Mr. Montplaisir said the sale of tax-forfeited property will be held on November 17, 1992, beginning at 10:00 AM. 18. PLAT APPROVAL, Casselton Great Plains First Subdivision Chairman Wieland opened the public hearing at this time on the final plat of Casselton Great Plains First Subdivision located in the NE~ of Section 31, Casselton Township. No one asked to address the Commission on this issue. The Chairman closed the public hearing and proceeded with recommendations of the County Planning Department, according to documentation submitted with the subdivision application. County Planner Earl Haugen said the Casselton Airport Authority went on record opposing the site, but at the hearing held by the Casselton- Everest Joint Township Zoning Board, the application was approved with conditions, which eased the objections of the Airport Authority.
