Minutes--August 17, 1992 902 <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />13. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Cass County Board of Commissioners in recent years has <br />demonstrated its concerns with the appearance and <br />preservation of its buildings and grounds by having its <br />building additions designed to be aesthetically compatible <br />with the original courthouse, has made a sensitive <br />renovation to the former Sheriff Residence; and <br /> <br />the Cass County Board of Commissioners has seen to it that <br />shrubs, lawns, and trees have been established and <br />carefully maintained at its main east entrance which <br />includes a plaza design with pavers, benches, period-style <br />lighting and other amenities. <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that changes which will come from the new <br />use of the former Gethsemane property and changes which may be made <br />to 9th Street itself by Cass County will be treated with care and <br />concern so that a sensitive continuation of its plaza environment will <br />be continued with a generous use of shrubs, hedges and trees which <br />will be designed with professional architectural and horticultural <br />assistance. <br /> <br />Dated at Fargo, North Dakota, this 17th day of August, 1992. <br /> <br />PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Nora Lutheran Church Women MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve raffle <br /> permit for Nora Lutheran Church Women to be held October 3, <br /> 1992, at Nora Lutheran Church in Gardner, ND. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SOCIAL SERVICES, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br /> out-of-state travel for Social Services employee Dawn <br /> Krieger to Fergus Falls, MN on August 17, 1992, for foster <br /> care; and to approve out-of-state travel for Social <br /> Services employee Leslie Johnson to Fergus Falls on August <br /> 12, 1992, for foster care. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #1992-4, Revenue bonds for Villa Nazareth MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to adopt <br /> Resolution #1992-4 APPROVING CHANGES TO CERTAIN HERETOFORE <br /> AUTHORIZED DOCUMENTS RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE BY CASS <br /> COUNTY, NORTH DAKOTA, OF ITS HEALTH FACILITIES REVENUE <br /> BONDS, CATHOLIC HEALTH CORPORATION (VILLA NAZARETH <br /> PROJECT), SERIES 1992, IN THE AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF <br /> $9,280,000 FOR THE PURPOSE OF REFUNDING CERTAIN REVENUE <br /> BONDS REFERRED TO HEREIN AND APPROVING CERTAIN OTHER <br /> MATTERS RELATED THERETO. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
