Minutes-'August 17, 1992 901 <br /> <br />ROAD REPAIR ANNUAL DISBURSEMENT, City of Harwood <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br /> annual disbursement of road and street repair funds for the <br /> City of Harwood in the amount of $1,331.00. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ROAD DEPARTMENT, Purchase of vehicle, computer/office equipment <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve the <br /> purchase of a 1992 Chevrolet Lumina for $11,954 from <br /> Gateway Chevrolet for County Road Engineer Keith Berndt's <br /> use; and to approve purchase of one PC, one laser printer <br /> and supporting software estimated at $7,800· On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />WEED CUTTING NOTICE, Publication approved <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to authorize <br /> publication of the notice for weed cutting according to <br /> NDCC 63-05-02. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #1992-3 , County Building, Paving and Pedestrian Projects <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to adopt the <br /> following resolution: On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Cass County Board of Commissioners seeks to develop a <br />long-range building plan which is cost-effective for <br />taxpayers and harmonious with the appearance of the <br />neighborhood; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Cass County Board of Commissioners seeks to take <br />immediate steps to solve both existing and future parking <br />problems by constructing a parking lot on land which it <br />owns adjacent to 9th Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Cass County Board of Commissioners seeks to provide <br />improved short-term citizen access to its main entrance on <br />9th Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Cass County Board of Commissioners has already provided <br />for the ample use of shrubs, hedges and trees in the design <br />of its additional parking; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Cass County Board of Commissioners seeks to augment <br />security control within the courthouse which may likely <br />increase customer volume to the main east entrance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Cass County Board of Commissioners seeks modifications <br />to 9th Street between 2nd Avenue South and 3rd Avenue <br />South; and <br /> <br /> <br />
