On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SOCIAL SERVICES, Out of state travel approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to approve <br /> out of state travel for Social Services employee Dawn <br /> Krieger on June 8, 1992, to Parker's Prairie, MN, for <br /> staffing on child in foster care. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to approve <br /> out of state travel for Social Services employee Leslie <br /> Johnson on June 4 and June 16, 1992, to Detroit Lakes, MN, <br /> for staffing for foster care children. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />DATA PROCESSING, Out of state travel approved <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to approve <br /> out of state travel for Mike Steiner and Linda Rogers to <br /> attend the PCSS Software Demonstration in Orange County, <br /> TX, on June 22-24, 1992; expenses to be paid from the 1992 <br /> Data Processing software line item. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />CHILD SUPPORT ENFORCEMENT, Temporary AssiRnment Agreement <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to approve a <br /> "Temporary Assignment Agreement" appointing Nell T. Gillund <br /> as Assistant State's Attorney for the period June 1, 1992, <br /> through August 31, 1992, on behalf of the Regional Child <br /> Support Enforcement Unit. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SOCIAL SERVICES, Contract with U.S. West Cellular MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to authorize <br /> the Chairman to sign an agreement with U.S. West Cellular <br /> for the Social Services Department. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />HERITAGE SOCIETY PRESERVATION AWARD, Former Sheriff Residence <br />Steve Martens, Fargo Heritage Society, presented an historic <br />preservation award certificate to the County Commission for the <br />adaptive reuse and renovation of the former Sheriff Residence, <br />adjacent to the Courthouse complex. He provided a copy of the press <br />release announcing Cass County Government as award winners. Dawn <br />Morgan was also present from the Fargo Heritage Society. <br /> <br /> <br />
