HUMAN RESOURCES, Personnel Coordinator hired/reports direc~__J;o <br />County Coordinato~ <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that Marcia Kemmer <br />be offered the position of Personnel Coordinator with a <br />salary of $27,000/year, as recommended by the Human <br />Resource Overview Committee. On roll call vote, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the Personnel <br />Coordinator report directly to the County Coordinator, as <br />recommended by the Human Resource Overview Committee. On <br />roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />15. ROAD DEPARTMENT, Acting pay policy/Recruitment for foreman position <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that Bruce <br />Reidinger be recognized for the duties he has assumed in <br />the Road Department as an acting foreman under the <br />Personnel Policy on Acting Pay, and if appropriate, that <br />his salary be adjusted. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the Road <br />Department's foreman position be recruited for according to <br />county policies and procedures. On roll call vote, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />16. PERSONNEL POLICY, Changes adopted for posting as recommended by Hum~D <br />Resource Overview Committee <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that Policy 7.40, <br />page 1 of 3, be changed as follows: The normal work week <br />for all county employees (excluding designated law <br />enforcement personnel in the Sheriff's Department) shall be <br />forty (40) hours. A work week shall begin at 12:01 AM on <br />Saturday through midnight on Friday. Each Department may <br />adjust these work weeks if needed. On roll call vote, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />17. PERSONNEL POLICY, Changes adopted for posting as recommended by Human <br />Resource Overview Committee <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that Policy 7.40, <br />page 3 of 3, be changed as follows: Employees must use all <br />accrued compensation time by December 15th of each year. <br />Any unused time as of December 15th will be paid to the <br />employee in cash overtime payment. Any overtime or <br />compensation time accrued after the 15th of December shall <br />be accrued and used in the following calendar year. On <br />roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br />
