TREASURER AUTHORIZED TO INVEST UNCOMMITTED FUNDS <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to authorize the <br />County Treasurer to invest uncommitted funds. SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LOTS TO CITIES <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to allow the <br />County Auditor to offer and sell the tax-forfeited lots <br />located wi thin cities, in which the city has a special <br />assessment lien thereon, to the city at $1.00 per parcel, <br />provided the city agrees to cancel specials that were <br />certified to the county for collection; and further move to <br />cancel the taxes on property that is sold to the city under <br />this motion. COUNTY DEEDS, Issued to First State Bank of Casselton <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to authorize Gene <br />Shannon to sign two county deeds to First State Bank of <br />Casselton for purchase of tax-forfeited Lot 7, Block 1 and <br />Lot 14, Block 1, Lenzmeier's 2nd Addition to the City of <br />West Fargo, dated December 26, 1991. On roll call vote, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />13. PLANNING COMMISSION, Appointment of Cheryl Strinden <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to appoint Cheryl <br />Strinden of 414 8th Avenue South, Fargo, to the Cass <br />County Planning Commission for a four year to expire <br />December 31, 1995, from County Commission District #2, <br />replacing Carl Elofson. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />
