<br />Comm. Minutes--December 2, 1991 779 <br /> <br />7. PERSONNEL POLICY CHANGE, Holiday hours worked <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve <br />personnel policy change for hours worked on a holiday, Page <br />4 of Section 6.00, Cass County Personnel Policy Manual. On <br />roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />8. SHERIFF DEPARTMENT, Out of state travel approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve out of <br />state travel for Deputy Budd Warren to attend the Advanced <br />Reid Seminar on Interviewing and Interrogation in <br />Minneapolis on December 5-6, 1991. On roll call vote, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />9. CONTRACT, Elevator maintenance <br />Bids were received from Dakota Elevator and from R & 0 Elevator for <br />elevator maintenance in county buildings. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Risher seconded to accept the low <br />bid of R & 0 Elevator Company for maintenance of four <br />elevators in county buildings at a cost of $279.00 per <br />month. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />10. CONTRACT, Cleanin~ services <br />Bids were received from JP Cleaning Service in the amount of $63,480 <br />and from Professional Building Services in the amount of $63,850 for <br />cleaning services at the Courthouse, Juvenile Justice Center and Jail <br />Administration building (former Sheriff Residence). Glenn Ellingsberg, <br />on behalf of the Cleaning Commi ttee, recommended awarding the contract <br />to one party for all three buildings and accepting Professional <br />Building Services' bid because of prior experience and because of the <br />professional manner in which they have maintained the Courthouse. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to contract <br />with Professional Building Services for cleaning services <br />in the Courthouse, Juvenile Justice Center and Jail <br />Administration building in the amount of $63,850 per year, <br />payable in monthly payments, for a period of three years <br />with annual renewal and a 30-day termination clause. On <br />roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />11. ABATEMENT HEARING, Dora Richman estate <br />MOTION, passed <br />Upon recommendation of Francis Klein, County Director of <br />Tax Equalization, Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Risher seconded <br />that abatement #3953 and #3954 be approved as presented and <br />abatement #3955 be rejected as the structure value has <br />already been removed for 1991. On roll call vote, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />
